As most of you know, there are a few Alias books out on the market with more to come. Here's a little sneaky peak for those of you who are curious about the books or are looking into buying them. Click the pic!
 My Review of Alias: Recruited
I thought all in all that this was a great book for Alias fans. It tells the story of how Sydney was recruited to SD-6 and also of how she met Noah. It was cute, funny at points, and completely believable. The only thing it lacked was a few more Alias characters. There was a phone conversation with Jack, a little vignette with Sloane and she even bumped into a black man (whom I believe to be Dixon) in the hallway. The really good part about the book was that Francie had a part in it! If Merrin Dungey read this book she might get jealous of her character's speaking parts. Although, Francie was a little bit too whiny for my taste. Wilson is a great character, one that I kinda wished was on the show. And her friend Todd is a nice alternative to Will, although I wish he was in the book. It's sort of slow reading at the beginning but once you get to the end of the book (like the last five chapters) it gets a lot better. I read this book in like two days and it only took that long because I had other stuff I had to do. My guess is that, if uninterrupted, a fast reader could read it in a few hours, while a slow reader might take a day or so. I give this book an A.
My Review for Alias: A Secret Life
I really liked this one. It's the story of Sydney's first real mission in Paris with Noah Hicks, a character who, although I hated him on the show, I like in these books. Syd and Noah are investigating a boutique in Paris posing as rich snobs. Their covers were cute and so was the way that they interacted with each other! I won't give too much away in case you haven't read it yet, but the ending is pretty neat too. Some of the highlights are Sydney at the frat party, her new Greenpeace friend (which explains her fascination with tequila and ice cream), as well as the fact that it's set in Paris! Vive la France! I give this book an A.
 My Review for Alias: Disappeared
AHHHHHHHHHH! This book was so good. I loved it. the whole Gothic Scottish castle was what really starts the book on the right path. Sydney's mission this time is a little bit more dangerous. She has to sort through a bevy of villians in order to find out why people are disappearing and who is behind the plot. Definately worth reading if you like mysteries as well as Alias. Also, this one is darker than the first few books so it's less "juvinile" than the others. The characters were so great and the result of the mission is unexpected. Read this book. My grade: A+
My Review for Alias: Sister Spy!
What the hell was this? That's the question that Alias prequel fans will be asking when they pick up the fourth novel in the series. While I liked the story and the mission, it was sort of sluggish and the characters were annoying. There were a few things that saved this book, but I can't tell you. I will say one thing: the villian is someone I didn't expect at first. this sorority girl mystery is probably one of the weaker books so I'm going to give it a B-.
My Review for Alias: The Pursuit!
I love Vaughn as all of you know and when I found out that a novel about his life before the show was going to be coming out I jumped at the chance to buy it. I wasn't the least bit disappointed. I loved this story and I think that it gave insight into the life of a character who keeps certain things "close to the vest". I liked the characterization as well as the plot. The villain is an asshole and I hate him. He...well, again, if you haven't read it I don't want to give it away. Let's just say that he really pissed me off for something that he does. Like I said, this is a great book and I can't wait for more Vaughn novels to come out. My grade: A+
